People often ask me why I don't do studio portrait work. My reason? I feel like portraits should be illustrations of who people are in the moment that they are in. This means that if you put people in settings of which they are unfamiliar, you might not get them in their best because they aren't as comfortable. Case in point: a portrait session booked to document a "Ladies Night" for a group of best friends...
Portraits can be done ANYWHERE. They don't have to just be limited to studios!

[Teaser] Yvonne + Chris :: Kent Island Wedding Photographer
Tonight I had the incredible honor to be a part of the most extraordinary wedding. It was easily the most romantic one that I have ever shot!
Yvonne and Chris were married earlier this evening on Kent Island. Their ceremony was woven with beautiful personal details and their reception afterwards was so much more like a grand ole party. Still, nothing outshined the love that they have found in one another. It's folks like Yvonne and Chris of which love stories are written...
Congratulations, Yvonne and Chris! Enjoy your honeymoon with all of it's newlywedded bliss!

Lonnie + David :: Bethesda Jewish Wedding Photographer
It is rare that I am able to work with a bride like Lonnie who has such amazing presence in front of a camera. Lonnie has professional training in the dramatic arts and it sure does show. Lonnie and David are quite the gorgeous pair for sure...

Wedding Portfolio Slideshow :: DC, Maryland, Virginia Wedding Photographer
This is a compilation of recent weddings and some of my favorites from the past. Turn your speakers up for a lovely accompaniment of one of my most favorite songs in the world.

Jessica :: Baltimore Bat Mitzvah Photographer
Jessica's bat mitzvah brought me back to my old stomping grounds in Baltimore. I had a great time and my husband came along to assist me as I'm nearly five months pregnant. I've done plenty of Jewish Orthodox weddings, now I can add bat mitzvahs to my laundry list of photography experiences!
